    Richmond Raceway’s 24th “Butterball” Less Than One Month Away; $7,500 to Win Lates!

    Richmond Raceway’s 24th Butterball™ Less Than One Month Away; $7,500 to Win Super Late Models!

    RICHMOND, KY (June 20, 2011)-Track promoters Joey and Tiffany Tackett are gearing up to present the largest paid purse in the 45-year history of Richmond Raceway. The unsanctioned 24th Annual Paul Butterballâ„¢ Wooldridge Memorial paying $7,500 to win/$500 to start will be held Friday/Saturday July 15/16.

    JumpStart Communications is sponsoring a $100 Fast Time Award to the fastest qualifier in the Coyote 100.7 FM Super Late Models. Other contingencies will be announced in the near future as the event quickly approaches.

    A Test & Tune is scheduled for Friday Night, July 15 from 6:00 p.m. through 9:00 p.m. A pit pass for the Test & Tune is $15 while the Grandstand area will be open for FREE. Several festivities are scheduled to take place Friday Night including a pig roast for those patrons with a valid pit pass, bon-fire, and a corn hole tournament with several cash prizes and other awards. Music will be provided by Michael Shannon. Also, don’t miss the opportunity to reserve your team’s pit for Saturday’s Butterball™ by showing up on Friday Night.

    Ticket prices for this marquee event in the grandstand area are $20 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12, and FREE to children ages 5 and under. A pit pass will be $35 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12, and FREE to children ages 5 and under.

    Camping will be permitted at the track (no hook ups).           All Vendor's please contact us at richmondraceway@yahoo.com to reserve a vending spot. Due to sponsor commitments, vending space will be limited this year. Those showing up without reservations will be turned away.
